DESCRIPTION:

By introducing the potential & wonder of revelations in scribbles we foster creativity, possibility and have fun. Imagine!! Some didactic (theory/Q&A) and more creating in an atmosphere of acceptance. We'll strive to dis-cover (uncover) from inside out. Additionally participants will excperience several quick, non-threatening art activities useful with clients.

Objective of Presentation:

• To understand the term art therapist and the pathway/potential obstacles toward such
• To open avenues of creativity and self-awareness, developing greater self confidence 
• Present art activities useful as a tool for personal and professional reflections

Special Instructions by Presenter (optional):

• some materials will be provided
• Bring preferred art media (crayon, markers), preferably not colored pencils.

About Our Presenter: 

Phylis is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Board Certified Art Therapist, Marriage and Family Therapist in private practice. She holds a Master’s Degree in Educational Psychology with post-graduate work in Art Therapy continuing to learn as a participant and presenter in professional workshops in creativity, spirituality, art making and art therapy in the US and abroad. She enjoys facilitating Parenting the Love and Logic Way® for parents and teachers.
