Partners and Families of Addicts

This presentation will present the Dos and Don’ts for partners and families of addicts—those things that are helpful for the partners  and families  of addicts and those that are not.  In addition we will explore the differences between substance use addicts and process addiction addicts i.e., sex, food, gambling and how it affects the partner and families. Surprisingly, the therapy and treatment for families of process addicts is quite different from that of substance use addicts.
